Ephesians 6:11-13

Ephesians 6:11-13

26/08/2016 in Focus Aid, General, Giving Back

“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”

We have all unfortunately seen what a wrecked bike and what a lot of road rash looks like. The following is graphic, disturbing, and down right scary results from when a truck ran me over and then dragged me on August 6. If you have a weak stomach or in an emotional unstable state I would advise you not to continue.

Photo 2 – Pedal ground to a nub, Crank and Frame Splintered

Down but not out,

Hope to see you back out there. I know if anyone can come back it is you and that you will use this to keep the fire burning bright. Shine brighter than a Dimond ;)

    Andy! Andy!

It doesn’t look good, but I am sure you are conquering this big time and in better shape already… Remember what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger than ever. You will have much better mental strength than physical, but the physical will follow to be even better than before. Wish you the best and speedy recovery again! Take care!

Andy I do not know you but know who you are. I too am a triathlete and have been seriously injured. I too looked to God to help me through. I will pray for you and your recovery. Stay strong and focused

Andrew I have met you a couple of times, once in Florida and another in Puerto Rico, both times we met I felt humbled by meeting a good man who cares about the sport and his fellow athletes. I can only pray that I get to see you again at the finish line again as the champion, of course I’ll have to watch the taped finish as I will be much further behind.
Let the healing process take place and don’t over do it.
